Vedat Işıkhan, Türkiye’s Minister of Labour and Social Security, announced the schedule for pension payments and Eid al-Adha holiday bonuses for retirees.
According to Işıkhan, retired citizens will receive their Eid bonuses before the upcoming Kurban Bayramı (Eid al-Adha). The minister stated that the payments will be transferred directly to beneficiaries’ bank accounts according to their social security categories.
The government confirmed that retirees under different social security systems — including SSK, Bağ-Kur, and Emekli Sandığı — will receive payments on separate dates. Officials also noted that millions of pensioners and rights holders are expected to benefit from the program.
Reports indicate that the 2026 Eid bonus amount will remain at 4,000 Turkish lira, the same level paid during Ramadan Bayram earlier this year.
Previous announcements from the ministry showed that payment schedules are typically arranged ahead of the religious holiday period to help retirees prepare for holiday expenses.
