Basaksehir Mayor: Bahcesehir-Halkali Marmaray ring work is finished, we will start a new era in transportation to Marmaray

Basaksehir Mayor Yasin Kartoglu announced that the Bahcesehir – Halkali Marmaray Ring Train Line work has come to an end, and after the negotiations with the State Railways, the link train service from Halkali Station of Marmaray to Bahcesehir was accepted. Kartoglu said, “We will start a new era in transportation to Marmaray. We are also building a giant parking lot with a capacity of 350 vehicles in the route area. We are also starting our bridgework in order to provide access to the area from Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Boulevard.”

Basaksehir Mayor Yasin Kartoglu announced that the work of Bahcesehir – Halkalı Marmaray Ring Train Line has come to an end. Kartoglu said for the ring line, “We have come to an end in the Bahcesehir – Halkali Marmaray Ring Train Line, which we have observed for a long time. We are building a train station in Bahcesehir within the scope of the project that will facilitate our transportation to Marmaray.”

Kartoglu also announced the details of the project on social media. Stating that the construction of Bahcesehir train station and parking lot, which was undertaken by Basaksehir Municipality in 2020, has come to an end, Kartoglu said the following about the project: “As a result of our negotiations with our State Railways, it was accepted to make a link train service from Halkali Station of Marmaray to Bahcesehir. We will start a new era in transportation to Marmaray. We are also building a huge parking lot with a capacity of 350 vehicles to the route area.”

Kartoglu also said, “We are starting our bridge work in order to provide access to the area from Mustafa Kemal Ataturk Boulevard. Our train line, which will start ring services in the near future, will meet with the high-speed train Halkali, and will provide the opportunity to go to many provinces on the European side, the Anatolian side, or to many provinces in Turkey. We mobilize all the means we can to ensure that all neighborhoods of our Basaksehir reach the rail system.”
