Minister of Commerce Mehmet Mus said, “The balanced and strong growth experienced in the first quarter of 2021 continued in the second quarter of 2021 as well. I believe that this balanced and strong growth will continue in the coming period and within this scope, we will exceed the 9% growth target for the 2021 MTP.” In his speech by video conference at the opening of Uludag Economy Summit, Minister Mus said that as a result of the developments in science and technology, the world is going through extraordinary processes in the 21st century. Pointing out the importance of many local and international stakeholders coming together and consulting, trying to understand this change, and evaluating the course of the global economy in such a process of change, Mus expressed that the summit held within this framework is also important. Minister Mehmet Mus stated that Turkey has made very serious breakthroughs in the last 20 years with the establishment of a period of economic stability and trust, and has made great progress in all areas of economic, commercial, legal and social life.
