BOTAS announced that there will be no changes in the tariffs for residential and industrial consumers, as well as for natural gas used in electricity production, starting from July. The distribution price for 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas for residential consumers remains at ₺4,080.
BOTAS has set the tariffs for industrial consumers at ₺8,549 for Tier 1 and ₺11,374 for Tier 2, per 1,000 cubic meters of natural gas.
For natural gas used in electricity production, the tariff is announced at ₺12,000 per 1,000 cubic meters.
The prices for natural gas tariffs are calculated on a monthly basis.
According to the announcement on the institution’s website, it was stated, “Based on the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI), Turkiye applies the lowest natural gas prices for households among European countries after Ukraine.”
