BIST 100 index rises 30.32 points at opening session.
Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Monday at 9,215.15 points, rising 0.33% or 30.32 points from the previous close.
On Friday, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 2.67% to 9,184.82 points, with a daily transaction volume of 100 billion Turkish liras ($2.9 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 34.3763 as of 10.03 a.m. (0703GMT),the EUR/TRY rate stood at 36.8541, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.4161.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,680.10, and the price of Brent crude oil was around $73.96 per barrel.
