BIST 100 index rises 15.19 points at opening session on Monday
Türkiye’s benchmark stock index opened Monday at 10,040.66 points, rising 0.15% or 15.19 points from the previous close.
On Friday, Borsa Istanbul’s BIST 100 index gained 0.77% to end the week at 10,025.47 points,with a daily transaction volume of 74 billion liras ($2.11 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 35.2820 as of 9.53 a.m. (0653GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 36.7921, and the GBP/TRY traded at 44.4038.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,631.11 and the price of Brent crude oil was around $73.73 per barrel.
