Turkish technology company Cerebrum Tech stepped into the game industry

Entrepreneurship studio Cerebrum Tech has added the game industry to its activities. Dr Erdem Erkul, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Cerebrum Tech, which brings together 3 mobile games of the hybrid casual type to users, said, “We continue to grow with the right teams that will share our vision. The mobile game category will be one of the important areas of our startup ecosystem. We aim to increase our investments in this field by expanding our team working under the name of PsyStorm Games.”

Bringing Turkiye’s first “artificial intelligence virtual character” Cere to the users last March, Cerebrum Tech is accelerating its investments in the field of technology. Cerebrum Tech, an entrepreneurship studio operating in many countries around the world in the fields of smart cities, artificial intelligence, web3 and internet of things (IoT), has also taken its first step into the game industry.

Dr. Erdem Erkul, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Cerebrum Tech, who entered the sector with 3 mobile games he developed, said the following:

“At the first stage, we launched 3 hybrid casual games, simple in gameplay and minimalistic, on all mobile platforms. Hybrid casual game category is a game category where the development process is shorter compared to the casual genre, and a longer period of time compared to the hyper-casual type. In this category, which has become popular in recent years, both the profitability of the games and the competition are quite high. We aim to increase our investments in this field by rapidly expanding our mobile game development team, which we call PsyStorm Games, in the upcoming period. The mobile game category will be one of the important areas of our entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

The mobile games “Core Quest” and “Galactic Rush” launched by Cerebrum Tech are space-themed running and escape-type games. In Core-Quest, an astronaut tries to escape by falling down from armed aliens on a lane that goes from the atmosphere to the magma level underground. Galactic Rush, on the other hand, has a plot where you run through obstacles and collect points.

In the game called “Thief Adventure”, which is also easy to play and close to the RPG style, you struggle to find the hidden key in the rooms that change in each level and pass through the door protected by armed enemies.

Cerebrum Tech grows with entrepreneurship studio model

Underlining the need for new methods and approaches to strengthen the technology entrepreneurship ecosystem, Dr. Erdem Erkul said that they are trying to find and support innovative ideas both in Turkiye and abroad with the Venture Studio/Entrepreneurship Studio model, where startups and entrepreneurs have the chance to better reflect their potential. Dr. Erkul:

“With our experts in our ecosystem and our work experience, we provide all kinds of support to our teams with creative ideas in the technology sector, where competition is getting tougher day by day, from software development to design, from sales strategy to growth modeling, and ensure their rapid and healthy development. We continue to grow with the right teams that will share our vision. Our team, which we established to step into the mobile game industry, is also a very young, promising and dynamic team. In this sense, we are very happy and proud to support our young software developers and developers in our country.”

Cerebrum Tech supports game development processes with artificial intelligence

It is believed that game development processes supported by manufacturer artificial intelligence will start a new era in the game world and will produce fast and high quality results in many subjects, especially scenarios, dialogues, concept designs, animations and music. Mustafa Furkan Ors, Vice President of Innovation at Cerebrum Tech:

“Artificial intelligence has been used effectively in the game world, especially in gameplay mechanics, to provide more realistic and human-like experiences to players. In the current period, with the use of artificial intelligence in areas that require high creativity such as design, programming and content production, game developers have become able to take the distance in a week they can take in a month. As Cerebrum Tech, we make full use of generative artificial intelligence applications in our game development processes.”
