Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati met with Qatar Finance Minister Ali Bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari.
Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati, who is in the USA to attend the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting and the annual meetings of international organizations, gave information on his ongoing contacts in Washington on his Twitter account.
Stating that they met with Qatar Finance Minister Al-Kuwari, Nebati said, “We had a productive meeting to further our strong economic, financial and commercial relations between our countries.”
It was noteworthy that Nebati’s meeting with his Qatari counterpart took place before the official visit of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamed Al Sani, to Turkiye tomorrow, upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
“Turkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee Eighth Meeting will be held”
As part of the visit of the Emir of Qatar, Al Sani, the Eighth Meeting of the Turkiye-Qatar High Strategic Committee will be held in Istanbul.
At the Strategic Committee Meeting, in which the relevant ministers will also be present, Turkiye-Qatar relations will be reviewed in all aspects, and steps that can be taken to deepen and develop bilateral cooperation will be discussed.
During the meetings, it is envisaged to exchange views on current regional and global issues as well as bilateral relations with Turkiye’s strategic partner Qatar.
