Turkiye, in the first 6 months of the 2022-2023 hazelnut export season, sold 177 thousand 570 tons of hazelnuts and earned $1 billion 39 million 231 thousand 995.
In the written statement made by the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association, information was given about the period of September 1, 2022-February 28, 2023, which is the first six months of the 2022-2023 export season.
In the statement, it was noted that 177 thousand 570 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad for $1 billion 39 million 231 thousand 995 in the said period, and that the export in February was $156 million 33 thousand 976 in return for 24 thousand 355 tons of hazelnuts.
