New Fee Set at ₺500, Marking a 233% Hike
The AK Party’s Group President, Abdullah Guler, has announced that Turkiye’s international exit fee will be increased to ₺500. Guler mentioned that this adjustment aligns with the revaluation rate. This increase represents a significant 233% hike from the previous fee.
Recent media reports had speculated that the fee could rise to ₺1500, but Guler clarified that a more reasonable adjustment was proposed in the comprehensive tax reform package.
The exit fee, previously set at ₺150, will now be raised to ₺500, a move designed to reflect current economic conditions and align with the country’s revaluation rates.
