Turkiye, in the 7-month period of the 2022-2023 hazelnut export season, sold 201.415 tons of hazelnuts and generated approximately $1.2 billion in revenue.
In the written statement made by the Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association, information was given about the period of 2022-2023 export season between September 1, 2022 and March 31, 2023.
In the statement, it was stated that 201 thousand 415 tons of hazelnuts were sold abroad for $1 billion 193 million 736 thousand 55 in the said period, and it was recorded that the export in March was $156 million 414 thousand 930 in return for 24 thousand 173 tons of hazelnuts.
