Turkiye: In September, the highest export was in chemical materials and products

Chemicals and its products became the sector with the highest export volume last month with $2 billion 920 million. It was followed by the automotive industry with $2 billion 753 million, and the ready-made clothing and apparel industry with $1 billion 928 million.

According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM), the chemicals and products industry, which achieved an export of $2 billion 920 million last month, was followed by the automotive industry with $2 billion 753 million, and the ready-made clothing and apparel industry with $1 billion 928 million.

Last month, the highest increase in exports was realized in ship and yacht services with 69.5%.

In the industrial group, which made up 82.2% of Turkiye’s total exports last month, exports amounted to $16 billion 273 million with an increase of 3%.

In the aforementioned period, exports amounted to $2 billion 991 million with an increase of 9.9% in the agricultural group, which constituted 15.1% of total exports. In the mining group, which had a share of 2.7% in total exports, foreign sales amounted to $541 million 658 thousand with a decrease of 7.1%.

Most exports were made to Germany

In September, exporters increased exports in 131 out of 220 countries.

The top 3 countries where Turkish exporters export the most are; Germany with $1.6 billion, followed by the United Kingdom and the USA with $1.1 billion.

While 45 provinces increased their exports, the top 5 provinces with the highest exports in September were Istanbul with $8.8 billion, Kocaeli with $1.6 billion, Bursa with $1.4 billion, Izmir with $1.2 billion and Ankara with $995.6 million.

1942 company joined the export family

Last month, 1942 company joined the export family. The companies in question realized an export of $114 million.

The unit export value rose to $1.62 in September with an increase of 22% compared to the same period of the previous year.
