The Group established the “ImeceMobil Tarim Platformu Elektronik Hizmetleri Ticaret Anonim Sirketi” (Agricultural Platform Electronic Services Trade Joint Stock Company) under the umbrella of Trakya Investment Holding Inc., of which the Bank is a 100% shareholder, in order to transform the digital agriculture application ImeceMobil into a platform for sustainable and efficient agricultural production.
The “ImeceMobil” application, which was implemented in 2019 with the aim of using and spreading technologies correctly in the field of digital agriculture, as an intrapreneurship project developed within the group’s technology subsidiaries Softtech Inc. and later Softtech Ventures Inc. already has more than 200,000 users and an active user rate of over 40%.
While ImeceMobil focuses on sustainable, safe and value-added production in agriculture, it prioritizes protecting the environment and increasing efficiency in the use of agricultural inputs. Turkiye, which has a rich and wide production potential in agriculture thanks to its fertile lands and four seasons climate conditions, can become self-sufficient with sustainable agricultural production and create more added value for the country’s economy by increasing the export of agricultural products.
Contribution to safe, sustainable and value-added production
Isbank, together with ImeceMobil, will continue to support safe, sustainable and value-added production in agriculture, which is a strategically important sector, by making use of all the possibilities of technology in our country. At the same time, the Bank will expand the scope of its work on agriculture and the innovative solutions it offers to farmers.
In the ImeceMobil application, farmers can view the weather forecast reports of these areas by recording the production facility information about the field, garden and livestock. Thus, it can take the necessary precautions within the framework of the warnings about instant weather events such as frost, precipitation and storm. Agricultural producers can ask questions and get advice from expert agricultural engineers on ImeceMobil.
In the application, where the most recent market/exchange prices of agricultural products and feed, meat, milk and egg prices can be examined, fertilization and irrigation services specially prepared according to the location of the field or garden and the development stages of the product can also be followed. In addition, special services such as expert-supported satellite service can be used, where plant health and plant development status can be monitored without the need to go to the field.

Ilker Mehmet Saglam, General Manager of ImeceMobil Inc., emphasized that the application is a good example of Isbank’s support to agriculture, and that it is an important step for the established company to transform the application into a digital agriculture platform. Saglam stated that they will continue to continuously improve the services they offer with ImeceMobil, where they bring technology and agriculture together, according to the demands and needs of the farmers.
Stating that ImeceMobil is in the leading position among digital applications in its current state, Saglam said: “Our aim is to facilitate the dissemination of agricultural technology and information by transforming the application into a platform. We care about supporting production processes that are respectful to humans, animals and soil and compatible with nature. The ImeceMobil application will not only contribute to the digitalization of agricultural production processes, but will also be constantly enriched with new agricultural and financial technologies, including areas such as access to financial products/services and payment systems.”
