The Ministry of Treasury and Finance of Türkiye has issued a lease certificate (sukuk) worth approximately 22.1 billion Turkish lira, according to an official announcement published on the ministry’s website.

The ministry stated that the banks and public institutions eligible to purchase the lease certificates will be notified of their respective sale amounts through the Central Bank Payment Systems Auction Platform.
This move is part of Türkiye’s ongoing efforts to diversify public borrowing instruments while promoting participation finance products such as sukuk.
