Calendar adjusted industry, construction, trade and service sectors total turnover index increased by 89.7% in December 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year.
Turkish Statistical Institute announced the turnover indexes for December 2022.
Accordingly, the seasonal and calendar-adjusted total turnover index increased by 5.9% on a monthly basis in December.
Calendar adjusted industry, construction, trade and service sectors total turnover index increased by 89.7% in December on an annual basis.
Industry and construction indices
The calendar-adjusted turnover index in the industry increased by 66.8% on an annual basis in December 2022. Seasonally and calendar-adjusted industry turnover index increased by 3.7% in the said month compared to the previous month.
The calendar-adjusted turnover index in the construction sector increased by 127.2% on an annual basis in December. Seasonally and calendar-adjusted construction turnover index increased by 9% in December 2022 compared to the previous month.
Trade and services indices
The calendar-adjusted trade turnover index increased by 92.9% in December 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year, and the seasonal and calendar-adjusted trade turnover index increased by 8.2% compared to the previous month.
The calendar-adjusted turnover index in the services sector increased by 112.5% in December 2022 compared to the same month of 2021, and the seasonal and calendar-adjusted service turnover index increased by 2% compared to the previous month.
