
Türkiye has climbed to the second spot in global mega yacht manufacturing, solidifying its position among leading maritime nations such as Italy, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the country’s success, revealing that Türkiye has recently received 146 new orders.
The total length of these new orders reaches 6,410 meters, with an average yacht length of 43.9 meters. Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that Türkiye holds a 12.9% share in the global yacht industry in terms of order volume.
Significant Growth in the Global Yacht Market
Citing data from “BOAT International’s 2025 Global Mega Yacht Order Book,” Minister Uraloğlu highlighted Türkiye’s remarkable progress in the sector. The country has made significant advancements in high-tech production and innovative design in recent years, competing with top maritime nations.
According to the latest figures, the total number of mega yachts either under construction or on order worldwide has reached 1,138, with a combined length of 45,487 meters. Türkiye holds a 14% share in the global market in terms of total yacht length and a 12.9% share in order volume.
This achievement underscores the high-quality production and innovative designs of Turkish shipyards, further strengthening Türkiye’s reputation in the luxury yacht industry.
