The total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 7.2% in December 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year.
Turkish Statistical Institute published the statistics of paid employees for December 2022.
Accordingly, the total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 7.2% in December 2022 compared to the same month of the previous year. While the number of paid employees was 13 million 797 thousand 768 people in the same month of the previous year, it became 14 million 792 thousand 228 people in December 2022.
Looking at the sub-details of paid employees; In December 2022, the number of paid employees increased by 6.7% in the industry sector, 9.2% in the construction sector and 7.1% in the trade-service sector.
The number of paid employees increased by 0.6% on a monthly basis
The total number of paid employees in industry, construction and trade-service sectors increased by 0.6% in December 2022 compared to the previous month.
Looking at the sub-details of paid employees; In December 2022, wage workers increased by 0.4% in the industry sector, 1.6% in the construction sector and 0.5% in the trade-service sector.
