Türkiye will provide a total of 12.5 billion liras in grant support under the 2026 Rural Development Investment Program (KKYP), Agriculture and Forestry Minister İbrahim Yumaklı announced.
Yumaklı shared details of the results of the 2026 Rural Development Investment Program applications on his social media account.
Under the program, 3,180 projects will receive 11.3 billion liras in grant support, he said. The grants are expected to help bring 19.5 billion liras worth of investment to rural areas.
Family-run businesses will receive the largest share of the support, with 2,164 projects allocated funding. Of these projects, 1,751 belong to women and young entrepreneurs, Yumaklı said.
As a result, 77% of the KKYP budget has been allocated to family businesses, according to the minister.
Yumaklı also announced that 2,047 projects submitted under the Efficient Agricultural Irrigation Systems program would receive 1.2 billion liras in grant support.
The irrigation support aims to improve efficiency in agricultural water use and encourage the adoption of more water-efficient irrigation systems.
The government’s rural development support program is designed to strengthen agricultural investment, support family-run businesses and young and women entrepreneurs, and improve resource efficiency in Türkiye’s agricultural sector.
