Ankara Vice President Yılmaz evaluated the industrial production index data for February announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute through his social media account.
Yılmaz noted that industrial production, which is a leading indicator of growth, increased by 3.2% on a monthly basis in February 2024, indicating positive developments in industrial production signal optimistic signals for the first quarter GDP growth of 2024 and also suggesting a more balanced composition in growth with a focus on production. He stated, “As we steadfastly combat inflation in the upcoming period, we are determined to achieve more balanced and sustainable growth by providing support for production, investment, and exports.”
