Turkiye’s Capacity Utilization Rate was 75.2% in February

The capacity utilization rate across the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month and fell to 75.2% in February.

According to the statement made by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT), the responses given to the February Business Tendency Survey by 1678 workplaces operating in the manufacturing industry were aggregated and evaluated.

According to the survey results, the capacity utilization rate across the manufacturing industry decreased by 0.1 percentage points to 75.2% in February compared to the previous month.

The seasonally adjusted capacity utilization rate (KKO-MA) decreased by 0.1 percentage points compared to the previous month and became 75.7%.

On the other hand, in the statement, “February Business Tendency Survey responses have been compiled as of February 1, and the weighted response rate of companies located in 11 provinces affected by the earthquake decreased to 61.1% in February, while it was 87% in the previous month.”
