Central Bank Governor Dr. Fatih Karahan to Present Updated Economic Projections for 2024
The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) is set to unveil its third Inflation Report of the year on August 8 in Ankara. According to an official announcement, Central Bank Governor Dr. Fatih Karahan will present the “Inflation Report 2024-III” at a briefing scheduled for 10:30 AM at the CBRT headquarters. The event will be broadcast live on the Central Bank’s website, as well as on its social media and YouTube platforms.
In its previous report, CBRT had revised the year-end inflation forecast for 2024 upward by 2 percentage points, bringing it to 38%. Projections for 2025 and 2026 were maintained at 14% and 9%, respectively.
