Türkiye’s Minister of Treasury and Finance, Mehmet Şimşek, is set to meet with investors in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. During the investor meeting, Şimşek will deliver a comprehensive presentation on global economic developments, Türkiye’s economic program progress, and investment opportunities. According to information from the ministry, Şimşek’s engagements in Dubai, which began yesterday, will conclude tomorrow.
High-Level Investor Meetings and Economic Discussions
On the first day of his visit, Şimşek attended a roundtable meeting with prominent figures from the financial sector, addressing investors’ questions regarding Türkiye’s economy. The meetings saw significant participation from leading holding companies and banks in the UAE.
As part of his Dubai visit, Şimşek will hold both large-scale and one-on-one meetings with investors. The investor gathering, expected to attract senior representatives from the finance and real sectors, will focus on global economic trends, Türkiye’s economic strategy, and investment prospects.
Official Meetings with Counterparts
Minister Şimşek will also engage in official discussions with his counterparts. Additionally, he will participate as a panelist at the World Government Summit, one of the UAE’s most prestigious events. He is set to join the panel titled “The Rise of Multiple Economic Blocs,” alongside Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Economy and Planning, Faisal Al-Ibrahim, UAE’s Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al-Marri, and Indonesia’s Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto.
