Gursel Turizm Initiates Share Acquisition Negotiations with Adastec Corp.
Gursel Turizm (GRSEL) has officially announced that it has entered into negotiations to acquire shares in Adastec Corp., a US-based autonomous driving technology company that develops self-driving buses.
According to a statement submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Gursel Turizm stated:
“Our company has initiated share acquisition negotiations with US-based technology firm ADASTEC CORP. in order to accelerate the growth of our international operations and the development of technology-driven alternatives.

Founded by Turkish Engineers in the US
Adastec is known as a pioneering autonomous driving technologies company established in the United States by Turkish engineers.
In 2022, the company raised $4.75 million during its Seed round. Later that year, in December, it secured additional funding from Red Cedar Ventures in a Pre-Seed round, although the amount was undisclosed. In March of the following year, Adastec received a further $1 million in Seed funding from APY Ventures and was also granted $250,000 by the National Park Service.
This strategic step by Gursel Turizm underscores its focus on international expansion and investing in cutting-edge mobility technologies.
