ISTANBUL — The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO) has released the results of its “Türkiye’s Second 500 Largest Industrial Enterprises – 2025” survey, highlighting the continued expansion of medium-sized manufacturers despite mounting financial pressures and challenging economic conditions.
According to the survey, the companies ranked between 501st and 1,000th among Türkiye’s largest industrial enterprises recorded continued growth in production and sales during 2025. The research serves as a key indicator of the country’s industrial performance beyond the top 500 manufacturers, showcasing the strength and diversity of Türkiye’s manufacturing base.
ISO Chairman Erdal Bahçıvan said the findings demonstrate that industrial companies continued to invest in production and employment despite high financing costs, persistent inflation, and weakening global demand. He noted that maintaining production capacity under such conditions reflects the resilience of Turkish industry, while emphasizing that access to affordable financing remains one of manufacturers’ most pressing challenges.
The ISO Second 500 survey complements the organization’s flagship ISO 500 ranking, which was published in June. Together, the two reports provide a comprehensive picture of Türkiye’s top 1,000 industrial companies and are widely regarded as benchmarks for assessing the country’s industrial competitiveness and economic performance.
Industry officials said the latest rankings underscore the importance of improving investment conditions, boosting productivity, and supporting export-oriented manufacturing to strengthen Türkiye’s industrial sector in an increasingly competitive global market.
