ANKARA – Türkiye’s trade sales volume rose by 22.5% year-on-year in June, while retail sales volume increased by 14.7%, according to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat).
On a monthly basis, total trade sales volume grew by 3.8% compared to May. During this period, the sales volume for the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles rose by 0.5%, wholesale trade sales volume increased by 5.4%, and retail trade sales volume was up by 1.3%.
Year-on-year, the wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles saw a 14.3% rise in June. Wholesale trade sales volume surged by 27.6%, while retail trade sales volume expanded by 14.7%.
