Türkiye’s Treasury to Hold Two Bond Auctions Next Week

Türkiye’s Ministry of Treasury and Finance will conduct two domestic borrowing auctions next week, including the reissuance of a Treasury bill and a government bond.

According to the ministry’s domestic borrowing issuance calendar, a 10-month (301-day) Treasury bill will be reissued through an auction on Tuesday, March 10.

On the same day, the ministry will also hold an auction for the reissuance of a five-year (1,764-day) government bond indexed to the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The bond will offer coupon payments every six months.

The auctions are part of the government’s domestic borrowing program aimed at financing public expenditures and managing debt through the local market.
