TURKSAT Posts Over ₺16.6 Billion in Net Sales for 2024

TÜRKSAT AŞ, an affiliated institution of the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, recorded net sales of ₺16.649 billion in 2024, according to its annual activity report. The company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached ₺3.722 billion, with an EBITDA margin of 22%.

The company’s cost of sales amounted to ₺15 billion, resulting in a gross profit of ₺1.5 billion. With continued investments, particularly in satellite and cable communication infrastructure, TÜRKSAT has maintained strong financial growth.

During this period, a decline was noted in the number of Kablo TV subscribers, which fell from approximately 1.358 million in 2023 to 1.309 million in 2024. In contrast, demand for KabloNet services increased, with subscriber numbers rising from 1.334 million to 1.412 million.


e-Government Services Reach 11.5 Billion Transactions in 2024

The demand for e-Government (e-Devlet) services continued to grow in 2024, reaching 11.5 billion service usages—up from 10.1 billion in 2023. As of the end of the year, 8,312 electronic services from 1,079 institutions were available to approximately 66.6 million citizens through the e-Government Gateway.

Compared to 2023, the number of e-Government users increased by about 4%, the number of services offered rose by 7%, and the number of integrated institutions grew by around 5%.

In the same period, the number of institutions using the Belgenet document management system rose to 109, with around 1.037 million active users.


TÜRKSAT Expands Cybersecurity Services Across Public Sector

TÜRKSAT significantly advanced its cybersecurity operations in 2024, offering Managed Security Services (MSS), Cybersecurity Operations Center Infrastructure Projects, Testing and Simulation Services, and Consulting to various public and academic institutions.

To strengthen national cybersecurity, TÜRKSAT implemented risk management policies focused on identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks. In 2024, the company revised its Risk Management Policy, ensuring that all corporate assets are continuously monitored and evaluated.

A new Governance Committee was established within the company to coordinate system management processes, maintain policies, oversee lifecycle and risk assessments, and track corrective actions.

Throughout the year, TÜRKSAT provided infrastructure services to bolster the cybersecurity resilience of institutions including the General Directorate of Highways, Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and Ministry of Health.

Additionally, the company delivered simulation and testing services to the Digital Transformation Office, Presidential Human Resources Office, Presidential Communications Directorate, and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Cybersecurity maturity enhancement services were also provided to the Presidential Investment Office, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and Sinop University.
