As of March 30, 2023, residents of Bursa, Mersin and Kayseri, as well as local and foreign tourists visiting these cities, will be able to call an Uber Taxi via the Uber application.

Neyran Bahadırlı, General Manager of Uber Turkiye, said the following:

“We are happy to launch Uber Taxi in Bursa, Mersin and Kayseri after Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Antalya and Adana. We want to bring Uber technology to other new cities as soon as possible.”

Uber, the transportation technology platform that allows its users to easily reach their desired destination within minutes, always aims to provide high safety standards with insurance protection on every trip, trip tracking via GPS, driver quality control system and driver scoring system.

To celebrate the arrival of Uber in new cities, it is giving all its users one (1) free Uber Taxi ride up to ₺70 valid only in Bursa, Mersin and Kayseri. All Uber users in Bursa, Mersin and Kayseri will be able to benefit from the free ride with the code HOSGELDINUBER.

How the Uber app works:

  1. Download the app to your smartphone.
  2. Open the Uber app from anywhere in the city, enter your destination and hail a taxi for your ride.
  3. Track Uber Taxi through the app, track how many minutes the taxi will arrive to pick you up and track the vehicle’s model and license plate number, along with all information about the driver.

You can travel for free up to ₺70 by adding the code HOSGELDINUBER to the Promotions section of the Wallet tab in the Uber application and calling an Uber Taxi.
