VinFast Expands to the UAE with New Dubai Dealership and Charging Network Partnership

VinFast has officially launched in the Middle East, marking a significant step in its global expansion. At Bluewaters Island in Dubai, VinFast introduced a range of smart and green mobility solutions, underscoring its commitment to sustainable transportation in the region.

On the same day as the launch, VinFast, in partnership with Al Tayer Motors, opened its first dealership in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), strategically located in Dubai’s downtown area. This modern facility spans over 1,000 square meters, featuring a luxurious showroom integrated with a service workshop. Here, customers can experience VinFast’s electric vehicle lineup, which includes models such as the VF 6, VF 7, VF 8, and VF 9.

The design and advanced technology of VinFast’s vehicles promise a new driving experience for customers in the UAE and the wider Middle East region. The company recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Charge&Go, dated October 17, 2024, to develop a network of public charging stations in the UAE, further enhancing its green mobility efforts.

VinFast has ambitious plans for the Middle East, with dealerships expected to open in countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain later this year. The VF 8 model is set to be launched with a starting price of $47,500 for the Eco trim and $51,500 for the Plus trim.

During the launch event, Mr. Ta Xuan Hien, CEO of VinFast Middle East, stated: “Today’s official brand launch in the Middle East marks an important step in VinFast’s journey to expand its presence in the global electric vehicle market. We are proud to partner with Gulf nations in the electrification revolution, offering smart and powerful electric vehicles with exceptional warranties, while gradually realizing our expansion plan in the Middle East and globally.”

VinFast’s presence in the Middle East represents another milestone in its global strategy, which already includes markets such as the U.S., Canada, Europe, Indonesia, India, and the Philippines. As countries in the Middle East increasingly adopt policies that favor electric vehicles, VinFast aims to be a significant player in the regional electrification movement.

To further its reach, VinFast has established exclusive partnerships with leading dealers in the region, including Al Tayer Motors (UAE), Al Mana Holdings (Qatar), and Bahwan Automobiles & Trading (Oman). Through these collaborations, VinFast is positioning itself as a key partner in the Middle East’s green mobility journey, helping to make electric vehicles more accessible and supporting the region’s transition towards sustainable transportation.
