Yapı Kredi Leasing and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed a loan agreement to support financing for investments contributing to Türkiye’s green and blue transition.
According to a statement from the company, the initial disbursement of USD 140 million, completed at the beginning of 2026, is planned to be increased to a total of up to USD 325 million. The full loan amount is expected to be reached by mid-2026.
The financing structure consists of A Loan, B Loan and parallel loan components.
Commenting on the agreement, Yapı Kredi Leasing CEO Fatih Torun said the company is committed to contributing to Türkiye’s sustainable transformation.
Emphasizing their strong sensitivity toward the world, natural resources and their protection, Torun stated:
“In this context, we see supporting the transformation of the real sector with long-term funding as a strategic priority. This agreement we have implemented with IFC strengthens our contribution to our country’s sustainable development goals, while enabling us to finance a wide range of investments—from clean water, water efficiency and wastewater projects to green energy, energy-efficient equipment, electric vehicles and charging infrastructure, as well as energy efficiency improvements in buildings and facilities and renewable energy solutions. By extending this funding not only to our SME and commercial customers but also to our corporate segment, we aim to expand the impact of the blue and green transition on a broader scale.”
