Zorlu Energy signed a cooperation agreement with the USA-based global energy management technology company Enphase Energy.
According to the statement made by the company, Zorlu Energy has become the sole distributor of Enphase’s microinverter (micro-converter) technology used in solar systems and its accessories in Turkiye.
Under the agreement, Zorlu Energy will be able to sell the microinverter technology and accessories used in solar systems produced by Enphase Energy directly for solar panel installers and consumers in Turkiye.
The company will also ensure that small-capacity micro investors to be produced specifically for residential and commercial systems are presented to the Turkish market. This will pave the way for more cost-effective projects.
Evren Evcit, Deputy General Manager responsible for Zorlu Energy Solar and Foreign Investments, said:
“As a company that draws almost all of our strength from renewable energy, in 2017 we became the largest business partner and sole distributor of high-performance thin-film photovoltaic modules of First Solar, which develops new generation technologies in the field of solar energy, in 26 countries. We believe that we will succeed in the microinverter market in the same way thanks to this cooperation with the solar equipment manufacturer Enphase Energy.”
