Züber Founders Buy Back Turkven’s 35% Minority Stake

ISTANBUL — September 8, 2026 — The founders of Turkish healthy-snack brand Züber, Nailcan Kurt, Murathan Kurt and Raşit Müftüoğlu, have bought back the 35% minority stake held by private equity firm Turkven, marking the completion of a significant phase in the company’s development.

Turkven had acquired a 35% stake in Züber in 2022 through investments made by international investors advised by the firm. The investment brought the Turkish healthy-snack brand onto the radar of global investors.

Nailcan Kurt, Züber’s co-founder and chairman of the board, said the partnership with Turkven had been an important milestone for the company, helping demonstrate the international potential of a young brand originating in Türkiye.

Kurt said the four-year partnership also provided Züber with valuable experience in corporate governance, strategy and developing an international perspective, while the company continued to expand.

“We are very pleased that this investment has been successfully completed,” Kurt said, thanking Turkven and its investors for their confidence in Züber and their partnership with the company.

“A new chapter is now beginning for Züber,” he added, saying the company would continue its journey with the entrepreneurial spirit of its early days, but with a much larger company, a stronger brand and more ambitious goals.
