Getir will focus on Turkiye, its main market where it sees the greatest potential for long-term sustainable growth.
Getir announced his decision to leave the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA. FreshDirect, Getir’s subsidiary in the USA, will continue its operations.
Explaining that it obtains 7% of its revenues from the markets it is exiting, Getir stated that this decision will allow it to focus on Turkiye.
In parallel, Getir secured new financing from Mubadala and G Squared. Getir will use this financing to strengthen its competitive position in its business in Turkiye.
Getir stated that they thanked all of their employees in England, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA for their diligent and devoted work to date.
