According to the statement from MIP, a ceremony was held at the port to mark the handling of the 25 millionth TEU container.
Ajay Kumar Singh, the Port General Manager, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders who supported us during this extraordinary journey of our port at the ceremony. He said, “I would like to express my gratitude to all stakeholders who have supported us during this extraordinary journey of our port. We will work even harder to achieve better results.”
The ceremony was attended by Ibrahim Küçük, the Provincial Administrative Officer and Deputy Governor of Mersin Port, Osman Göllüce, the Customs Regional Director of Mersin, Murat Birinci, the TCDD Mersin Port Operations Manager, Hakan Sefa Çakır, the President of the Mersin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cebrail Orman, the President of the Customs Consultants Association, David Yang, the Chairman of the MIP Board of Directors, and port employees.”
