Turkish companies participated intensively in the “Uzbuild-2024” 25th International Construction Fair, which started in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
While more than 450 companies from nearly 20 countries of the world participated in the fair, which started at the Uzexpocenter Fair Center in Tashkent, 62 Turkish companies also took part in the event as a national participation organization.
Members of the Uzbek construction industry and guests showed great interest in the Turkish companies participating in the fair, which consisted of sections such as architectural and decorative design, landscape and garden, industrial facility construction, road and housing construction, cable and lighting, construction and covering materials, interior design and design, doors, windows and facades, construction machinery and equipment, ceramics and facing stones, metal and insulation, real estate and house construction.
Turkish businessman Mehmet Celik, who attended the fair from Turkiye, emphasized to the AA correspondent that Uzbekistan has made progress in the construction sector in recent years and has a large market.
Celik stated that large-scale construction works are continuing throughout the country and that, as Turkish businessmen, they aim to get a significant share in this large sector and that their opportunities are sufficient for this.
The fair, whose main sponsor is two Turkish companies, will last until March 1.
