Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) announced the September economic confidence index data. Accordingly, while the economic confidence index was 100.8 in August, it increased by 1.6% to 102.4 in September.
According to the statement made by the Turkish Statistical Institute, while the economic confidence index was 100.8 in August, it increased by 1.6% to 102.4 in September. The increase in the economic confidence index stemmed from the increases in consumer, real sector (manufacturing industry), services and retail trade sector confidence indices.
Consumer confidence index increased by 1.8% in September compared to the previous month and became 79.7, real sector confidence index increased by 1.0% and became 113.3. Service sector confidence index increased by 1.5% to 117.8, retail trade sector confidence index increased by 4.8% to 115.6. Construction sector confidence index decreased by 0.7% to 91.8.
