The House Price Index reached 1129.6 in October, with a monthly increase of 3.8% and an annual increase of 86.5%.
Housing Price Index data for the period of October 2023 was announced by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye.
HPI (2017=100), which is calculated to monitor the quality-adjusted price changes of houses in Turkiye, increased by 3.8% compared to the previous month in October and reached 1129.6.
While HPI increased by 86.5% on an annual basis in October, the real increase in this period was 15.4%.
Looking at the HPI change for three major provinces, an increase of 2.9%, 4.7% and 3.3% was seen in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir, respectively, in October compared to the previous month.
Index values increased by 74.4% in Istanbul, 101.5% in Ankara and 80.1% in Izmir compared to the same month last year.
