Foreign countries or companies will be able to participate in international fairs or exhibitions held in Turkiye for display purposes, but will not be able to make retail sales.
The “Communiqué on International Fairs Held Domestically” prepared by the Ministry of Commerce was published in the 3rd recurring issue of the Official Gazette.
The Communiqué includes regulations regarding the import of fair goods of foreign companies participating in international fairs held within the country.
Accordingly, foreign countries or companies will be able to participate in international fairs or exhibitions held in Turkiye only for display purposes and will not be able to make retail sales there.
After the end of the fair, definitive imports of goods exhibited by foreign countries or companies will be possible within the framework of customs legislation.
The notification will come into force as of tomorrow.
