Zeki Kivanc, Chairman of the Adana Chamber of Industry, stated that 21 companies were included in Turkiye’s Top 1000 Exporters List from Adana and said, “Adana, which was represented by 20 companies in 2021, has succeeded in entering the TIM Top 1000 list this year. I would like to thank all our companies that contributed to the production, export and employment of our country, which was included in the TIM Top 1000 List. We fully believe that more companies from Adana will be on the list in the coming period.”
Kivanc stated that Adana is going through a major change in the next 10 years and said, “Our Adana is undergoing a major change in the next 5-10 years with the newly established industrial zones. I say this sincerely, sincerely and with faith. Our Adana is rapidly advancing towards becoming the second largest production base of Turkiye after the Marmara production region. Adana is the center of the region in terms of logistics with its proximity to Mersin, one of the largest container ports in the Mediterranean, the newly built regional airport, container port and railway lines to be completed. Our region is an important production center for iron-steel, chemistry, plastic, metal-machinery, textile, food and agricultural production. It is a center of attraction for foreign investors and employees with its rich socio-cultural structure, suitable climate, very good universities and touristic infrastructure.”
Congratulating the companies on the list, Kivanc said, “I congratulate our valuable companies that have made Adana among the champions in exports and convey my sincere thanks to all company managers and employees for making us feel this proud. In the future, I hope that more strong and competitive companies in Adana’s industrial sector will take the places they deserve in Turkiye’s Top 1000 Exporters List.”
