BOTAS: No Changes in June Tariffs for Natural Gas

Stability in Natural Gas Tariffs: BOTAS Maintains June Rates for Residential, Industrial, and Electricity Sectors

Pipeline and Oil Transportation Joint Stock Corporation (BOTAS) announced that there will be no changes in the tariff for natural gas consumed by residential and industrial subscribers, as well as gas used for electricity generation, effective from June.

According to the tariff table published on BOTAS’s website, the tariffs for residential and industrial subscribers and for electricity production purposes will remain unchanged in June.

As per the announcement, the sales price that BOTAS will apply to distribution companies for residential consumers in June is set at ₺4,080 per 1000 cubic meters of natural gas.

For industrial subscribers, the tariff is set at ₺8,549 for tier 1 and ₺11,374 for tier 2, per 1000 cubic meters of natural gas.

Meanwhile, the price of 1000 cubic meters of natural gas for electricity production purposes is announced at ₺12,000.

Natural gas price tariffs are calculated on a monthly basis.

In the announcement on the institution’s website, it is stated, “When considering the Household Energy Price Index (HEPI), the lowest natural gas prices among European countries are implemented in our country, following Ukraine.”
