Companies Standing Out with High Interest Rates and Cash Values in Turkiye’s Market

In market conditions where interest rates are high, companies with high cash values stand out. Among the companies in the BIST 100 Index with a market value exceeding ₺10 billion, there are only eight companies with a ratio of liquid assets to total assets over 20%.

We examined these eight companies and their performance. In an environment where interest rates are high, cash values of companies have become more important.

This week, we examined the industrial companies within the scope of the strong BIST 100 Index, whose market value is high among assets. Among the companies included in the Stock Exchange Index, there are only 8 companies with a market value of over ₺10 billion and a liquid value of more than 20% of assets.

According to the news by Zeynep Aktas from Ekonomim, Turk Traktor ranks first among these companies with its 37.99% share in assets. The company has a market value of ₺90 billion. Mavi Giyim is the second company that stands out with its Ready Value/Asset Ratio of 34.93%.

Tofas Factory draws attention with its strong cash position in the automotive industry. The company’s Liquid Values/Asset Ratio is at 31.54%.

SHARES WITH HIGH RETURNS

Stock market companies that stand out with their cash power also stand out with their returns. In its long-term course, Tupras’s returns in dollar terms of 47.86% in the last year, 180.97% in two years and 301.44% in three years are noteworthy. On the other hand, Mavi Giyim’s two-year returns of 305.52% and three-year returns of 265.21% also show the return performance of the company. Turk Traktor is among the highlights with a return of 140.33% in dollar terms. Otokar, Turkcell, TAB Gıda, Bogazici Beton Sanayi are among the noteworthy companies on the list with their cash positions.

STABLE RETURN IS IMPORTANT

The growth potential of companies and the stable returns they provide are also important in their preference. In this sense, companies with strong cash positions will continue to be watched by investors.
