The number of individuals who have entered legal proceedings due to personal loans or credit card debts has decreased.
According to data released by the Risk Center of the Turkish Banks Association (TBB), the number of individuals who have entered legal proceedings due to personal credit card debts was 93,000 in November 2023. The number of individuals who entered legal proceedings due to personal loan debts was 106,000 in the same period.
During the January-November 2023 period, the number of individuals who entered legal proceedings due to personal loans or personal credit card debts decreased by 15% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 1.2 million individuals.

According to Risk Center data, the outstanding loans to be liquidated in individual loans, including personal credit cards, increased by 40% compared to the previous year, reaching 47 billion TL as of November 2023.
