DHMI’s sales revenue target for this year is 92.5 billion Turkish liras

The General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI) of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure aims to achieve a sales revenue of 92,547,646,000 Turkish liras this year.

The General Directorate’s 2024-2028 Strategic Plan, the importance of the civil aviation sector has been rapidly increasing in Turkey and worldwide in recent years, parallel to developments in technology and tourism.

The civil aviation sector, which directly contributes to many areas including tourism and logistics, and supports employment and the current account balance, is further solidifying its indispensable position in the country’s economy with each passing year.

The two main pillars of civil aviation, air navigation services and airport operation activities, are carried out by the DHMI General Directorate in Turkey.

In order to make its activities safer, sustainable, efficient, and innovative, DHMI is signing many technological products developed with the institution’s own resources, domestically and nationally.

DHMI provides very high added value to the country’s economy in terms of quality and quantity with investments that set an example to the whole world in terms of scale and success, carried out within the framework of Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects.

While the passenger and aircraft traffic in Turkish airspace and airports is expected to intensify in the coming period, meeting the increasing demand for air navigation services and airport operation activities safely and sustainably is important for the country’s economy.

DHMI, whose revenues consist of air navigation, terminal, and operation services, covers its own investment and operating expenses with the income it generates from these services and activities.

DHMI aims to achieve sales revenues of 92,547,646,000 lira this year, 111,204,246,000 lira in 2025, 125,790,555,000 lira in 2026, 149,367,126,000 lira in 2027, and 172,387,727,000 lira in 2028.
