Gurkan Tekin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Mediterranean Ready-made Clothing and Apparel Exporters Association, reported that they made exports of $30.8 million in August.
In his written statement, Tekin stated that they evaluated 3 thousand 577 tons of products in international markets last month.
Stating that the union achieved $30.8 million of exports in August, Tekin said:
“We exported $15 million in women’s outerwear, $7.5 million in men’s outerwear, and $3.6 million in other ready-made goods. These three product groups constituted 85% of our $30.8 million exports.”
