The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) published its Weekly Securities Statistics.
According to the data, foreign residents bought a net $362.9 million worth of stocks, $86.4 million worth of Treasury Bills (T-Bills), and $37.5 million worth of Corporate Bonds (CBs) in the week ending on April 5th.
Thus, foreign residents’ net stock purchases since the week of March 22nd reached $1.059 billion, indicating the strongest foreign investor purchases since December when considering the 3-week periods.
As of March 29th, foreign residents’ stock holdings, which were $34.0699 billion, increased to $36.5711 billion on April 5th.
During the same period, foreign residents’ T-Bills holdings increased from $2.3861 billion to $2.4832 billion, and their CBs holdings increased from $112.5 million to $151.9 million.
