It is anticipated that a trade volume of more than $200 million will be created with the negotiations to be held during and after the Konya Machinery Technologies Fair.
TUYAP Fuarlar Yapim Inc. General Manager Ilhan Ersozlu told the AA correspondent that the fair, which started yesterday in Konya and was held for the 17th time this year, will host professional business people and investors from the EU, the Balkans, Central Asia, the Gulf, the Middle East and North African countries.
Stating that they united KONMAK, KONELEX, ISKON and KONYA SAC fairs under one roof, Ersozlu stated that the fair will make a significant contribution to the production and exports of the sector this year, as in the past.
Stating that the 4-day fair will create a significant trade volume, Ersozlu said, “There will be commercial relations and activities that will continue for 3 months after the fair ends. We have achieved a trade volume of $200 million in the past. We anticipate that a trade volume of over $200 million will be achieved in this year’s fair. The agreements, negotiations and orders made by the companies participating in the fair are revealed after the first hours.”
Stating that they will determine the net sales volume with the studies they will carry out after the fair is over, Ersozlu said that they will share this data with the participants and visitors until the next fair period in order to reveal the importance of the fair.

Ersozlu emphasized that Konya Machinery Technologies Fair is Turkiye’s leading organization that provides significant added value to its participants and said:
“In the machinery sector, fairs are held in many cities in Turkiye. When you look at these fairs, there are very few fairs that have been held for 17 years and have now become traditional and an established and sought-after brand. The fair we are currently opening in Konya is among the top three fairs in the sector. Konya’s position as a production center and its power were effective. It is important that Konya is an important base for many sectors. Due to the potential of the region, it will continue to grow and develop for years. It is one of the most important fairs of our country in terms of sustainability.”
Stating that the fair included products, machines and equipment that are relevant to the sector and needed at every stage of production, Ersozlu said, “Our country’s most important manufacturers in their field, world brands, took their place at the fair. There are machines and benches that were showcased for the first time. Demand for the fair is good. We aim to host professional business people and investors from home and abroad here. Our visitors will come from 36 countries. We have foreign visitors coming from the first hours.”
