Local fintech Turan launches money transfer service from Turkiye to Georgia

Turan announced that it allows money transfer from Turkiye to all banks in Georgia, 100% digitally and without any commission fees.

Turan, which increased its international money transfer volume in a short time after the Azerbaijan startup, announced that it added Georgia to its transfer network. Turan, which recently completed its 100% digital money transfer integration from Turkiye to Georgia, started its financial activities in 2 countries in a very short time.

Turan, which brought the money transfer process between Central Asia and especially the Turkish States to the digital world, made its first country expansion with Azerbaijan in February. Turan facilitates many financial transactions for Turkish citizens residing in Turkiye, and also enables money transfers from Turkiye to Azerbaijan within seconds with the lowest commission fees.

The financial border gate between Turkiye and Georgia moves to digital

Speaking about Turan’s opening to Georgia, Turan Founder Ozgur Bayraktar told egirisim on the subject;

“We added a new financial route with Georgia to the money transfer corridor we opened with Turan to the countries in Central Asia. We are very excited and happy to move the financial border gate between Turkiye and Georgia to digital. Moreover, we will be offering all transfer processes for a certain period of time without any commission fees. Our targets in the upcoming periods will be Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. Our work has now reached the final stage. Apart from these two countries, we will bring some surprises to our users in a short time.”

Turan, which aims to become the largest financial application of the Turkish States with the investments it receives in 2022 and 2023, wants to extend this journey, which it started in Turkiye, to other Turkish States such as Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan in a short time.
