Paxie Games, which was founded in 2021 by Direnc Celik, Huseyin Anil Ozmen, Refik Anil Bulut and Sare Basel, received an investment of $3 million under the leadership of Ludus Ventures.

Domestic mobile game studio Paxie Games received a total investment of $3 million with the participation of Alfa Games & Partners and some angel investors in the tour led by Ludus Ventures.

Founded in 2021 by Direnc Celik, Huseyin Anil Ozmen, Refik Anil Bulut and Sare Basel, the founding team of Paxie Games has software, marketing, visual design and product development experiences and produces mobile games with hybrid income in the casual category. Their first game, Merge Studio, has exceeded 7 million downloads and has entered the most downloaded games lists in more than 100 countries in the world. You can view their games on the App Store or Google Play.

Receiving its pre-seed investment from Ludus in 2021, the team collected a total of $1 million in the first investment round. Paxie Games, which achieved a remarkable success with Merge Studio, has also released its second casual puzzle games in addition to this success.

Paxie Games co-founder and CEO, Direnc Celik, said;

“In a short period of 1.5 years, we developed a casual puzzle game that achieved great success on a global scale, moved both the game and the company to a profitable point, and finally, we launched our second casual puzzle game. We have tremendous game production capacity and desire. Our goal this year is to continue to develop and market Merge Studio, which has grown our team and has already reached millions of players. We believe that we will achieve great success by continuing to develop our new game Tile Star, which we see a very high potential, this year. In addition, we are happy to progress in this investment tour with Ludus, who has been with us since the beginning of our journey and kept our focus on game production.”

Regarding the investment they made, Ludus Ventures General Partner Ismet Goksen said;

“Although we are more selective in our investments compared to previous years, the most critical factor is still the team. We are looking for teams that are fast and can make a difference. Now, unfortunately, not only is it enough for teams to produce good games, but their ability to launch and grow their games is critical to follow-up investments. Paxie is a team that has impressed us in every way and we are very happy to have made the first investment of this year in this team.”
