Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacir stated that the foreign trade deficit decreased by 3.2% compared to 2022 and said, “The kilogram unit value of our exports increased by 8.8% to $1.6.”
Evaluating the 2023 export figures on his social media account, Minister Kacir noted the following:
“Our exports in 2023 reached $255 billion 809 million, breaking the record in the history of our Republic. Our foreign trade deficit decreased by 3.2% compared to last year. The kilogram unit value of our exports increased by 8.8% to $1.6.
