Economists participating in AA Finans’ expectations survey expect the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) to keep the policy rate constant.
AA Finans’ expectation survey for the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkiye (CBRT) to be held on Thursday, March 21, was concluded with the participation of 20 economists.
The median value of economists’ expectations regarding the change in the policy rate was to keep the interest rate constant at 45%.
According to the survey results, economists’ policy rate expectations were between 45% and 47.50%.
The median of economists’ year-end policy rate expectations was 45%.
At the MPC meeting held last month, the policy rate was kept constant at 45%.
